Dear prospective screw customers: After several ill-fated attempts to "market" our vast inventory of unplated ""vintage" wood screws, we decided to step back and review the results of this effort from a business justification standpoint.
I have taken off time from other paying work on a number of occasions in order to get prospective customer orders sorted-out and processed, then have those customers turn around and either reduce their orders or simply VANISH altogether after investing the necessary time to "process" their prospective orders!
We have come to the conclusion that dealing with individual customer orders for screws simply isn't profitable enough for us to pursue as a business endeavor. Therefore, we have decided to simply withdraw any and all offers to sell these screws directly to individuals.
Instead, we will sell them unsorted, in bulk by the pound.
Please look for by-the-pound LOTS of them to be offered for sale on EBAY in the future. Surely there are parties sufficiently interested in this kind of material who have more time than I do to sort and re-sell this inventory than I have. If you are a hardware dealer or screw sales jobber and wish to make me an offer on the entire inventory "as-is" (unsorted!) by the pound, please feel free to contact me!

Schneider Pipe Organs has in their inventory a large quantity of slotted flat-head plain steel finish wood screws that are available for sale. These older, honest-to-goodness screws are frequently sought-out by restorers because they are REAL screws, proudly manufactured in the USA many years ago when domestic screw manufacturers gave people real value for their money; rather than importing cheap, offshore third-world knock-offs.
A similar-sized stockpile of round-head slotted wood screws are also available. Many of these are "blued" (when was the last time you saw "blued" screws???) as well as the more typical plain steel finish.
While these screws are mostly new stock, please do not expect them to be rust-free! They are not plated or otherwise finished (other than the "blued" ones previously mentioned. Many were purchased in bulk and were stored in open bin boxes. Consequently, they have picked up moisture in the air and in some cases have some surface rust. This does not impair their performance in any way, and can be cleaned-off with sandblasting if one is so inclined. We could provide this service if you don't have this capability.
The professional furniture restorer who strives to maintain authenticity in their work may wish to utilize the screws we have to perfectly duplicate rusted or missing originals when repairing antique or period furniture or creating reproductions, without having to resort to using odd-sized foreign-made screws cut more modern "drives", such as Phillips or Robertson (square) heads. The screws we have a huge stock of are genuine, unplated, slotted wood screws; many of which are in their original boxes in the case of smaller sizes.
